(A) Eligibility for Admission:
A candidate will be eligible for admission to LL.M. if he/she has completed LL.B. Three year or LL.B. Five year bachelor’s degree recognized by M. J. P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly and has secured not less than 50% marks.
(B) Admission Procedure:
Admission to LL.M. First Semester will be made strictly on the basis of appearing/passed in the entrance exam conducted by Guru Jambheshwar University, Moradabad.
(C) Curriculum and Duration of studies:
1. The Two Year Post graduate degree course in Law, namely Master of Laws (LL.M.) shall be divided in Four Semester. A Student has to complete 96 credits for the completion of the course and award of the degree
2. The Curriculum of studies of the LL.M. Degree shall comprise of the courses set out hereinafter schedule A on Page no.
The M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly has been introduced choice based credit System (CBCS). The CBCS provides an opportunity for the students to choose courses from the prescribed courses comprising generic core, elective groups and choice based. disciplinary courses, Choice based interdisciplinary courses and value-aided courses
(D) Examination:
1. There Shall be in end semester exam at the end of the I, II, III & IV semesters.
2. A student proceeding to appear in the end semester exam will submit through the principal of the college his/her exam form alongwith the required fees etc.
3. Examinations in the I, II and III semester except for the IV semester. In the IV semester Every Student will have to appear in six respective theory papers and one internship, will be allotted one dissertation work in lieu of Viva-Voce Exam.
(E) Promotion:
1. A student can not to be promoted to next academic year if he/she fails in upto the four courses (papers) including both semester. The papers/paper in which a student fail shall be considered as back paper. In no case a student having back in more than four papers can be promoted to next year and will be treated to have year back. In case of year back he/she have to take re admission by paying approved tuition fee in same year after the recommendation of principal.
